Wilcoxia is a group of slender, often trailing or climbing cacti historically recognised for their delicate stems and striking flowers. Native to parts of Mexico, these plants can develop long, narrow branches that contrast beautifully with their large, colourful blooms. Wilcoxia is closely associated with the Echinocereus group, and its unusual growth habit makes it an interesting addition to hanging displays, specialist collections and enthusiasts’ shelves.
